Welcome to Friends of Basingbourne Parklands

We are a new group of volunteers working alongside Fleet Town Council to promote the management and use of Basingbourne Park and the surrounding woodlands and area of SINC.

The park consists of a play area, green, pavillion, woodlands and Lowland Heathland.

Recent Events!

Recent events: Pavillion clear out 22nd October. Volunteer's help clear and tidy up the pavillion....Bulb planting 6th November: Large numbers of volunteers turn up to help plant bulbs througout the parklands. Website launched.....check out or twitter feed too

SINC status

The lowland heathland within Basingbourne Parklands is designated with SINC status (Site of Importance for Nature Conservation) and the Friends Group are committed to maintaining this area inconjunction with Fleet Town Council. For more information see our SINC section.

Location

Basingbourne Parklands is situated at the end of Basingbourne Road, Fleet, with a small carpark adjacent to the play area. The parklands can also be accessed on foot from Greenways, Cranford Avenue and Award Road.
