Forthcoming Events in Basingbourne Park
Longdown Heath Volunteer Day – Saturday 23rd November – 10am
This will involve cutting scrub on the Heath, which is vital to keep the heathland glade open and free of trees. We will also push back the perimeter by using the tree poppers to remove some of the recent birch and pines which have encroached around the edges of this area.
If you are definitely coming it would be helpful if you could let us know, although we won’t turn you away if you find yourself free and want to join on the day. If you’re coming, please wear waterproof boots, gardening gloves and bring saws, loppers, pruning saws etc. if you have them, as we have a limited supply of equipment.
Meet at 10am at the Pavilion or find us on the heathland if you’re joining us later in the morning.
We appreciate any time that you have to spare – even if it is just for the odd hour or so.
Hot Chocolate Mondays – Monday mornings from 2nd December – 7.45 -8.15am
Come and grab your free cup of hot chocolate and a snack, on your way to school, work or walking the dog. This is served with a smile to brighten up your term-time winter Mondays from December until February half-term.
Run in association with Church Crookham Baptist Church and Fleet Methodist Church.

Join us for Carols in the Park on Friday 13th December at 6pm, meeting at the pavilion. Suitable for all the family.
