Nature Trail

Follow our nature trail with our beautiful wildlife rubbing posts!

Thanks to a generous grant from the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust and the support of Fleet Town Council, 12 beautiful wildlife rubbing posts have been installed throughout Basingbourne Woods.

Each post offers a unique rubbing design, allowing children and families to explore and learn more about the diverse wildlife that inhabits our beautiful park. The posts feature types of wildlife that are commonly found in the park:

Tawny Owl, Woodpecker, Bumblebee, Fox, Badger, Pipistrelle Bat, Scots Pine, Beech Tree, Newt, Gorse, Oak, Songthrush, Nuthatch, Brimstone Butterfly, Roe Deer

Can you find them all? Bring some paper and some crayons and start your adventure!
